Adaptive Power 2.0
Super. Natural.
Super. Natural.
With AdaptivePower™ technology, your bike thinks for itself. Encounter any resistance on the road, and it instantly adapts to what's around you. Gain superhuman strength just when you need it – and experience the most natural ride feel ever.
Version 2.0
Since 2023, AdaptivePower has been making hills feel flat, heavy loads feel weightless and headwinds a breeze. Thanks to this update, you can now tackle hills 50% steeper with no extra pedal power – and when riding on the flat it can save you 10% extra battery power.
Our unique end-to-end hardware plus software offering is what makes Cowboy different to any other bike on the market.
The torque and cadence sensor relays ultra-precise data 200 times per second to measure the force applied on the pedal in Newton meters as well as their exact rate of rotation.
Calibrated in-house by our engineers, the motor controller continuously analyses the electrical power output of the rear-hub motor to provide the rider with the optimal level of assistance at all times.
This is where the magic happens. Data from the controller and sensor are combined in the comm module using a unique algorithm to create the AdaptivePower ride feel.
AdaptivePower 2.0 is calibrated to the weight and dimensions of our different bikes, tweaked to ensure specific power allocation and the smoothest ride imaginable.
Refined proprietary algorithms make 20 calculations per second to react in real time to more surroundings and scenarios than ever before.
Because you're only supplied with the right amount of power at the right time, AdaptivePower 2.0 boosts efficiency so your battery won't get battered.
Thanks to over-the-air updates, your bike keeps getting better long after you buy it. Cowboy riders can download and install AdaptivePower 2.0 free of charge in under a minute.
The algorithm behind AdaptivePower 2.0 is more refined than ever – capable of detecting even more changes in environment and terrain.
